lenten small groups: exploring/doing/learning/sharing/affirming/celebrating life together
Beginning Feb. 26 there will be sermon each Sunday based on Bonhoeffer's Life Together.  Small Groups will meet on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, Monday evenings, and Thursday evenings. Signups for small groups will be in the foyer and in the fellowship hall. For those who want to formally join Trinity, there will be special class on Sunday mornings with Pastor Randy Butler. 

bringing baby home:  parenting workshop
For pregnant couples and parents of babies and toddlers, this workshop will be on Saturday, April 28 and May 4 from 9 am to 2 pm.

The content of this course was developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, renowned relationship experts. The sessions will be taught by Terry McNichols and Pastor Kay Browleit, both Certified Gottman Educators. Because of a generous grant from the Presbyterian Church, USA, we can present this workshop for only $45/couple.

movie night on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7:00 pm in Bethany.  Bring snacks!

prayer shawl ministry
Third Saturday of each month at 10:00 am in Bethany. Those interested in knitting or crocheting shawls for those who need prayer and comfort are invited to join the shawl ministry.

writing for your life--a guided autobiography workshop
Feb. 2nd is  the second session. Janice Ellis will lead the group. Contact her to sign up. The group will meet for 10 sessions breaking in the middle for Easter.

community garden public meeting
Feb 9,at 7:00 pm. in the Fellowship Hall there will be a meeting for a community garden (p-patch style) in the SE corner of Twin Ponds Park next to the tennis court.

family service project
On Feb. 11, 10 am - 2 pm, meet at Trinity at 9:45 am and carpool to do yard work at Penny's Place a sanctuary for women and children who are survivors of violence. 4th graders and older and families are invited to participate. Bring yard tools and gloves and a working spirit.

february book group
Feb 16, 7:30 pm book group will discuss Little Bee by Chris Cleave (our January book) and A woman's place (our Feb. book) at the church in Bethany on the 3rd Thursday of February.
  
adult education series beginning in January
The "Bible from Scratch: Luke" will continue at the 11:00 am hour.

men's fellowship dinner
Fri. Feb. 3, 6:30 pm the men's fellowshipwill meet in the Fellowship Hall. All men are invited. Dinner is provided.

new women's bible study
A new Women's Bible Study will begin on Wed. Jan. 25, 10:00-Noon.  Betty Parkhurst will help us explore what it means to be "called to be a woman of God."  Bring neighbors and other friends to join us. Sign-up sheets are in the upstairs narthex and down in the Fellowship Hall.

women's prayer meeting
There will be women's prayer meeting on the third Friday of every month starting February 17, at 7pm.  Contact Donna Spencer for more details.

Hopelink support
January and February--we are collecting canned tuna, pasta, rice, canned vegetables, and soup.  Thank you for your contribution.
