prayer shawl ministry, meet the 4th Saturday of the month, 10-11:30am

Individuals meet to crochet or knit shawls that are infused with prayer and caring.  Shawls are given to those who are ill, grieving, or in need of special caring.  The group distributed over 77 shawls in 2006.  Beginners are welcome and others will teach you how to crochet or knit.  Call the church to find out the next meeting date for November and December.  We traditionally meet the 4th Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Bethany but change based on holidays. Link here for a photo of shawls made by the team.

munchers and movers

This group of retired adults meets for fun activities. "Moving" to see and do. "Munching" when they stop for a meal together.  See events , contact the church office or Jenny Fauquet to learn about the next event.

church choir and praise team-

The choir usually sings three Sundays out of four.  New folks are always welcome!  Dan Shelhammer, our music director, is willing to help anyone whether you read music or not, whether you are a candidate for American Idol or simply someone who sings in the shower!
Practice is Wednesday 7:00-8:30 pm in Bethany.

One Sunday a month we have a contemporary service with a praise band. Do you play an instrument? Like to help lead singing? Know contemporary Christian music?  Give Dan a call and talk to him about it.

prayer chain

The Deacons of Trinity organize a prayer chain of those who will commit to praying for individuals and families who are in special need of God's touch.  To request prayer, please call Carol Paige or leave a message at the church.  If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please contact a deacon or the church office at  206-363-3500 .

ministry team opportunities

Trinity has a variety of ministry teams that support the work of the church and its outreach into the community.  Is God calling you to work in some way?  There are groups that plan worship, those that plan education opportunities, those who teach,  those that work on the church building and grounds, and others.   Link here for Volunteer Opportunities.
Some ministry teams meet on a Tuesday evening once a month others have other ways of organizing their work.

community service opportunities

Supporting Shoreline Schools: Trinity is partnering with our local elementary school, Parkwood, this year.  Last year in a partnership with Highland Terrace Elementary, some folks did worked on outdoor areas to beautify them. A group of men built benches outside the kindergarten class. Watch for opportunities this spring.

HOPELINK Volunteers: Each month Trinity provides volunteers to help with handing out food at the Hopelink Foodbank. Would you be interested in helping in this way?
